'They thought he was a big monster': Quirky camel rescued from petting zoo has trouble fitting in with new friends, but becomes part of the herd once they realize he's just goofy

Hey, friends. Let's get personal for a second. We didn't fit in when we were younger. We were the kid that everyone made fun of and we didn't have a lot of friends. But, once we learned the power of being ourselves (cheesy, we know, but it really did help), we found that other people started to love us because of our goofy, quirky personality. There is only one you in the whole world, so don't try to fit in, just be yourself!

Apparently, our story is not a unique one, and not even just for the hooman species. After being rescued from a petting zoo, one quirky camel had trouble fitting in with the other animals on his rescue farm. He wanted nothing more than to be friends with all of the horses and alpacas, but they had never seen a camel before. After a while, they learned that he was just a goofy version of them, so they warmed up to him and now he's part of the herd. Scroll down to watch the whole video below!

  • Look at him chasing after them - it's so wholesome and sad at the same time. He just wants to be friends! Also, who knew that camels loved the snow? Or maybe just he does. Does anyone know if this is a universal thing across the camel species?

  • He looks like he has a big personality. Do you know any other camels that cause trouble, make friends with horses and alpacas, and get zoomies in the snow? Yeah, we didn't think so. In fact, we don't know any other camels at all!
